DIGITAL FEATHERS
We built a custom feather grooming tool simply due to the control we needed for the exact clumping shape that needed to match a pre designed shape.
We got to work coding a new tool which allowed this; while we were at it, we built a physics simulation to allow digital wind to blow the feather around and give us natural results
The desired look was a graphic one, which was based in reality with regard to motion.
